Reserving Space for Your Event

In order to reserve function space for your event, the Mansion requires a signed contract, method of guarantee and a 20% non-refundable deposit.

Planning & Menu Selection

Our catering professionals are here to guide you through the planning and menu selection process. Together with our awarding-winning chefs, they will provide a customized proposal based on your specific needs and requests. All food and beverage selections must be made no later than 21 days prior to your function. Because the Mansion offers complete catering services, it is not permissible to bring food or beverages of any kind into the hotel’s event facilities with the exception of specialty cakes. We do not charge a cake-cutting fee.

A food and beverage minimum, exclusive of taxes and gratuity, may apply to your function. All menu items as well as bar packages and/or beverages will contribute to fulfilling this minimum.

Guest Count

For all catered functions a final attendance figure must be specified seven (7) days prior to the function by 12:00pm. This figure will be considered a guarantee and not subject to reduction. The attendance figure may be increased up to three (3) days prior to the function.

Gratuity & Taxes

All food and beverage prices are subject to 8.25% sales tax and 21% gratuity. It is the responsibility of your organization to present a Tax Exemption Certificate at least seven (7) days prior to your function in order for taxes to be waived from your final bill.

Deposits & Payments

A non-refundable 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. The final balance will be due on the day of the function.

Vendors

Outside vendors should be hired for your floral needs, specialty linens, lighting, entertainment and photography. We would be happy to provide you with a list of preferred vendors who are familiar with our property.

Parking

Valet and self parking services are available.

Hotel Accommodations

We offer 48 guest rooms, with 10 in the historic Mansion and 38 in the North Wing. Individual reservations as well as group room blocks can be reserved. Room rates are available upon request.

Grand Ballroom

Adorned in comforting shades of sage and cream, the Grand Ballroom is not your typical hotel ballroom. Expansive windows on the west wall are softened by embroidered sheer curtains, which lead the eye up to a lofty coffered ceiling and sparkling crystal chandeliers. The coffee tinted concrete floor and beaded wainscoting add the perfect finish to this elegant space. Wrought iron French doors lead you directly outside onto the spacious Crystal Veranda which overlooks our lush Central Courtyard.

Crystal Ballroom

When the Grand Ballroom is divided, the Crystal Ballroom is the larger space with the Crepe Myrtle and Pecan Rooms serving as breakout spaces.

Crepe Myrtle Room

The Crepe Myrtle Room is part of the larger Grand Ballroom. When connected to the adjacent Pecan Room, its size and capacity doubles.

Pecan Room

The Pecan Room is part of the larger Grand Ballroom. When connected to the adjacent Crepe Myrtle Room, the size and capacity doubles.

Crystal Veranda

Directly outside the Grand Ballroom, the expansive Crystal Veranda features wrought iron columns and railing. The grand staircase flows directly from the veranda into the Central Courtyard.

Central Courtyard

Bordered by the French Quarters ambiance of our North Wing, the Central Courtyard is shaded by century-old crepe myrtle trees which offer a showy display of brightly colored fuchsia blooms when in season. Paved with unique fossil-filled limestone and lush with seasonal flowers and greenery, our peaceful courtyard is a natural oasis.

Goodall Wooten House

Timelessly elegant, the historic Goodall Wooten House welcomes you with soaring stone columns and sparkling leaded glass windows. When you enter through the carved oak and brass double doors, you are instantly transported to another time. Featuring ornate fireplaces, elaborate carved trim, glittering chandeliers and stately refinished antiques, the turn-of-the-century mansion gives a new definition to the word elegant.

Main Dining Room

Adorned with crystal chandeliers and custom designed plush carpet, the exquisite Main Dining Room is the largest space in the Goodall Wooten House. This room also features one of the original marble fireplaces, which is the only working fireplace in the house.

Library

The original dining room of the Wooten Residence, the Library is the perfect space for intimate private parties. When connected with the Parlor Bar, its size and capacity doubles.

Parlor Bar

The Parlor Bar is best used for semi-private functions. When connected with the adjacent Library, the space is more functional for private events.

Wooten Veranda

The breezy wrap-around Wooten Veranda boasts terrazzo marble flooring and spectacular views of the Front Lawn.

Front Lawn

Lined with blooming crepe myrtle trees and Texas mountain laurels, the pristinely landscaped Front Lawn is the perfect setting for a garden party. This beautiful outdoor space also boasts lantana, pampas grass and Turk’s cap.
